Try and help an elderly resident through this cold spell

The ORG are fully behind the Oscott Elderly Residents Group in their efforts to make everyone more aware of the elderly, in this cold weather.
We all need to look out for the elderly and disabled people, in this cold snap, particularly if they live alone.
We would request that every asks any one who may be vulnerable, if they need a hand.

Maureen Byrne the OERG Chair said " many of our members who are elderly them selves, are trying to look out for others, I would really like to request younger people in particular, try and help their elderly neighbours through this cold spell Why not aslk if they need some shoppong fetched for example. Older people should also ensure they keep them selves warm."
