The Neighbourhood Police Initiative on behalf of the Police are warning residents not to get caught out.With the light nights sheds and garages become a target for thieves.
Also do not leave bikes and tools in your garden over night.
Brian Brookes (see above) a leading member of the NPI says.
"One of the things those of use who attend the Police tasking meetings at the Kingstanding Police station are regularly told is make sure people lock their garden gates sheds and garages."
