The Kingstanding Neighbourhood Police Initiative have for years been calling for improved boundary fencing on the Burford Road Playing field.
Now thanks to the efforts of Councillor Keith Linnecor and his 2 Ward colleagues Barbara Dring and Grahame Green, the replacing of old fencing on the Burford Road Playing Field ( Kingstanding Road side) has taken a step in the right direction. Funding has been identified and measurements for the new fencing taken.
Brian Brookes Senior Coordinator NPI said. "Councillor Linnecor and I turned up on site on a wet day to help ensure the Council officers fully understood how important this new fencing will be. They have now taken the necessary measurements and will soon be pricing the much needed fencing"
