NPI SAY NO TO COLD CALLING IN OSCOTT

The Oscott Neighbourhood Police Initiative are right behind the local Police Neighbourhood Team Led by Sear gent Bebb and also Councillor Keith Linnecor in calling for an end to cold calling.
Unwanted sales reps calling unexpectedly at our doors are not wanted.
They should certainly never be allowed in your home without having ID checked first. (Phone their firm or the police if in doubt)
The NPI are currently putting out leaflets advising residents to reject sales reps at the door if they have not made an appointment and ask residents to help prevent this by saying no thank you or putting up a No Cold calling sign.
We are currently working with the Police to get more of these signs.
